Since established in 1987, DAEHAN i.m. Co., Ltd. has been the leading manufacturer and supplier of geosynthetics in Korea. DAEHAN is specialized in manufacturing, supplying, consulting, researching & developing geosynthetic products for stabilization and reinforcement of soil structures, erosion control and drainage.

Beyond No. 1 in Korea, DAEHAN is expanding its market to many overseas regions with the world largest production capacity and supply records of Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD).

For the past dynamic 30 years, we have grown up like this:

1987

  • Established “DAEHAN GEOTEXTILE CO.”

1992

  • Converted to “DAEHAN i.m.Co.,Ltd.”

1993

  • Obtained Certificate of Quality Assurance

1994

  • Built a factory in Eumseong, Chungcheongbuk-do province
  • Obtained construction license

1996

  • Won the first overseas project, Singapore Changi International Airport

2000

  • Achieved ISO 9002 Certificate
  • Joined IGS as a corporate member

2002

  • Achieved ISO 9001:2000 Certificate
  • Developed the new type of PVD for a great soil depth

2003

  • Awarded Grand Prize of Civil Engineering from Korean Society of Civil Engineers

2004

  • Established Technical Research Institute & Testing Laboratory

2007

  • Set fully automated PVD production lines
  • Obtained Certificate of Mainbiz Corporation

2009

  • Held the technical seminar on PVD in Vietnam

2012

  • Received Award for USD 5 million Outstanding Export Performance

2014

  • Developed Hori-Drain®
  • Started exporting Hori-Drain® to overseas market
  • Achieved Certificate of Korea Eco-Label

2016

  • Achieved PMS Certificate of Korea Productivity Center
  • Obtained Certificate of MAINBIZ Corporation

2017

  • Received Award for USD 10 million Outstanding Export Performance

2018

  • Obtained Certificate of Technical Achievement (NICEDNB)
  • Selected Hori-Drain® as the BEST PRODUCT (CNEWS)

2019

  • Awarded Grand Prize of Technical Innovation by Korean Geosynthetics Society
  • Selected as a World Champ Company by Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency
  • Designated as a Chungbuk Star Company for its excellence and high growth potential by Chungcheongbuk-do provincial government

2020

  • Established mass production system of Wing Hori-Drain®
  • Won Governmental Project for Fostering Regional Specialized Industry and (R&D) Regional Star Company (Ministry of SMEs and Startups)
